There are over 100 cases of cardiac arrest in the UK workplace each week. Unfortunately, many of these victims cannot be reached by a defibrillator within the needed 10 minutes for revival and survival as they do not have an automatic external defibrillator (AED) on site.

As the biggest killer in the UK, cardiac arrest affects over 140,000 people in the UK alone. It happens without warning and can affect anyone, at any age, with or without any previous heart conditions. The chances of survival from a cardiac arrest increase from just 5% to over 75% when a defibrillator is used.

We believe that all companies should be able to give this protection their biggest asset, their employees. However, one of the main objections to having an automatic defibrillator in the workplace is the high cost of purchasing one.
